2007 Wall Calendar
Just in time for Christmas, I've created a 2007 wall calendar, Images of the Sierra Nevada. Available for purchase from CafePress.com for $23.99. It's an over-sized calendar with 17x11 inch prints of some of my favorite images. I scanned the original slides at 2700 dpi for maximum quality. Let me know what you think! If anyone is interested, I will list the location of all images in the calendar. One other note: you can usually find a discount for $5 off a $20 purchase if you visit cpcoupons.com.

Some of my favorite hikes and trips:

Mount Dana Rae Lakes Loop Mount Lewis
In August of 1998, we went on my first true test -- a 13,000 feet peak in Tuolumne Meadows. Altitude, hail, and lightning could not keep us from our goal. A 6-day backpacking trip into the heart of the Sierra with new amazing views every day. Mount Lewis in Tuolumne Meadows in Yosemite. Not as high as Mount Dana, but just as pretty -- if not more so.
Mount Tallac
Emigrant Wilderness
Mount Whitney
This was the first great hike. So far, it's also the prettiest, with the most magnificent views of Lake Tahoe, Fallen Leaf Lake, and surrounding peaks from the top. A 3-day backpacking trip in the Emigrant Wilderness. I've never seen so many beautiful lakes so close together. This trip report includes some of the best hikes in Tuolumne Meadows in Yosemite and an attempt on the highest peak in the United States outside of Alaska.
Seattle/Olympic/Rainier
Lassen Volcanic National Park
Zion/Bryce Canyon/Grand Canyon
A 9-day trip to Seattle, including visits to the Hoh Rain Forest in Olympic National Park, and hikes in Mount Rainier National Park.

This trip report includes a beautiful hike up Brokeoff Mountain, and my first hike up a volcano.

Within a span of just a week we visited Zion, Bryce Canyon, and Grand Canyon national parks. Zion was my favorite, as we did a wonderful 3-day backpacking trip which left us feeling very isolated.
