Some of my favorite hikes and trips:

Mount Dana Rae Lakes Loop Desolation Wilderness Loop
In August of 1998, we went on my first true test -- a 13,000 feet peak in Tuolumne Meadows. Altitude, hail, and lightning could not keep us from our goal. A 6-day backpacking trip into the heart of the Sierra with new amazing views every day. A 5-day backpacking trip in the Desolation Wilderness including at least 11 different lakes and magnificent mountain views.
Mount Tallac
North Lake to South Lake
Mount Whitney
This was the first great hike. So far, it's also the prettiest, with the most magnificent views of Lake Tahoe, Fallen Leaf Lake, and surrounding peaks from the top. A classic 7-day backpacking trip in the Eastern Sierra, including part of the JMT. This trip report includes some of the best hikes in Tuolumne Meadows in Yosemite and an attempt on the highest peak in the United States outside of Alaska.
Eastern Sierra Trip
Zion/Bryce Canyon/Grand Canyon
A 9-day trip to Seattle, including visits to the Hoh Rain Forest in Olympic National Park, and hikes in Mount Rainier National Park.

This 10-day trip includes several beautiful hikes in the Eastern Sierra Nevada.

Within a span of just a week we visited Zion, Bryce Canyon, and Grand Canyon national parks. Zion was my favorite, as we did a wonderful 3-day backpacking trip which left us feeling very isolated.
