When I was younger I used to walk through El Cerrito's Hillside Park. I wouldn't think of it as hiking. Just kind of exploring. There's one section which I particularly liked which was (and still is) completely covered with trees, making it relatively dark and peaceful throughout the day. I captured this image as the rays of the late afternoon sun turned the hillside aglow.
