The previous day I'd by chance gotten up just in time to witness a gorgeous sunrise at Kairuru sheep farm near Motueka in New Zealand. So that night I prepared my camera in advance, attaching my seldom-used graduated neutral density filter. The next morning, I got up and took this picture. That's Abel Tasman National Park you're looking at in the distance, next to the water.
