Rae Lakes Sunset

While other people stayed in their tents after a day of backpacking, I stood outside with my camera, waiting for the sun to set. Rain had threatened all day; while it hadn't rained on us yet, the clouds lingered. The sun set, and nothing happened. But then gradually, you could see the clouds turn pink. After a while, the clouds turned into deep reds and purples. I snapped several pictures. And then two minutes later, it was gone.
