Comments: Great tips, especially "You can start hiking with your kids almost immediately." Most infants certainly will enjoy the outdoors (so long as they're clothed to stay comfortably warm and dry)and will enjoy the time with their parents as they gaze in wonder at the fantastic world around them.

Comments: Just as I hit 'submit' I realized I must add the hike from Golden Canyon to Zabriske Point in Death Valley. The vastness of the barren terrain just took my breath away and gave me a great sense of peace.

Comments: I've really enjoyed visiting your site. I'm in the middle of planning a King's Canyon Backpacking trip and it's been a great help. Do you feel like you could have done the Rae's Lakes Loop in 3 nights and 4 days instead of 4 nights and 5 days? That loop looks amazing but I was really looking to do a 3 night trip. Thanks!

Comments: Hi Kevin, Really enjoy your website. Since we spend most of our time hiking in the southern part of the Sierras,we decided to head north a little way and hike to Gardisky Lake since we have not hiked it in several years. Your photos of the hike are better than the photos we shot this past Saturday!!! Your explanation of the terrain and the entire hike was RIGHT ON.
