2001 Hikes The highlight of 2001, of course, was the Rae Lakes backpacking trip. The other big trips were a trip to New Mexico, and a 4-day trip to Lake Tahoe culminating in a hike up Mt. Rose. Oh, and let's not forget a beautiful backpacking trip in the Emigrant Wilderness and a day hike up Snow Mountain.
