2002 Hikes The highlight of 2002 was a trip to New Zealand, including tramping the Routeburn and Milford Tracks. Although I admit to preferring the Sierras in many ways, so a September trip was appreciated. The backpacking trip in the Marble Mountain Wilderness was memorable for its many wildflowers.
