After we returned to Queenstown from the Routeburn Track, we checked back into the hotel and
retrieved our bags. Then we walked into town to find a restaurant. We settled on Thai Siam (43 Beach Street),
where we ordered a lot more food than the waiter would have expected!
I stopped in an Internet cafe to check on the latest March Madness scores. Then it was back to the
hotel to do laundry. The St. Moritz has a washer/dryer machine in every suite. It's a strange little machine
that can actually both wash and then dry. I'd never seen anything like it before, but it appears to work fine
(although the drying was a little slow).
