Since we hadn't visited Mono Lake back on Saturday, we decided to stop by
on the way home. Once there, we did a short walk at the
South Tufa area.
After the hike, we continued on the road up to Tioga Pass. Unfortunately,
there was a very long wait to get into Yosemite. We sat behind about 15 cars
for what must have been about 20 minutes before we finally flashed our
receipt from Friday to enter the park. While idling on the road, I kept
looking up at
Mount Dana, thinking it was amazing we'd been up there. I
also thought it amazing that nearly 6 years had passed since then!
I was surprised to find that Tuolumne Meadows was so busy on a Tuesday!
After stopping for lunch, we continued on the road back home.
