Directions:
From San Francisco, take Interstate 280 south toward Palo Alto.
Exit at Page Mill Road; turn right off the exit onto Page Mill Road.
Follow the narrow winding road as it winds its way up into the hills.
Be sure to be on the lookout for cyclists, as it's a popular local climb.
After about 7 miles from the freeway exit, you'll see a sign for the Monte
Bello and Los Trancos
parking lots. Soon after that sign you'll see the parking lot for Monte Bello
on the left. Turn left into the parking lot. The trail starts at the end,
near the bathroom and map display.
