Expect to share the short walk with lots of others, as tour busses come here. One was there when we arrived.
There's a nice view of the ocean from the start of the trail at the parking lot.
Start of the trail
A minute or two down the gentle trail is an overlook where you can see the tessellated structure of the rocks below. But don't stop there, of course. It's only a 5 minute walk down to the beach.

At the beach, you can walk on the tessellated rocks, which extend northward (back the way you came). We made our way up the coast. Despite the crowds, there is plenty of space for everyone as you go further up the coast. After enjoying the sights and sounds, we returned the way we came.
