Kings Canyon / Jennie Lakes Trip Report |
Day 4 of 4
After the backpacking trip we drove back to Grant Grove for a final stop before
heading home. In the visitor center I found a map of the Rae Lakes loop
backpacking trip, which is
something I'd love to do in the future. It's a much more ambitious week-long
trip, about 50 miles, starting out from Cedar Grove.
From Grant Grove we made it back to the Bay Area in under 4 1/2 hours,
which was very welcome after having to deal with traffic on the way there.
We even arrived in time for fireworks.
