Rafter on Lower Blue Lake
In the morning I went out to the lake to take a few morning pictures.
The lake is dammed at one end. A few people were doing early morning
fishing. At the other end, mountains rise above in the distance.
There were lots of boats sitting on the shore. Small fishing boats
and inflatable rafts. In the center of the lake is a small island
where we'd seen one boat anchored the previous day.

After breakfast we broke camp and left just after 10am. We drove over
the same dirt road back to Highway 88, then back over the pass and on
to Woods Lake. Then we hiked to Winnemucca Lake.
After the hike we drove back to the Bay Area, arriving in time for
dinner, less than 36 hours after we'd left.
