Today was going to be the hottest day of the trip, so we decided to skip the hiking today.
We went to another Portland Farmer's market, but it was small and not nearly as good as on Saturday.
Plus, the heat was stifling.
Next, we visited the Japanese Gardens in Washington Park. Jean and I had visited them
over 18 years ago, and I don't think the vegetation has changed much, but I think some of
the buildings might be new.

Then we revisited Powell's Books, where we enjoyed the air conditioning, before
having dinner and returning to our rental house to start packing.
