After finishing our hike, we took the bus from Skógar back to Reykjavik.
Along the way, the bus stopped briefly at Seljalandsfoss. There's a snack
and gift shop here. I took some pictures of the waterfall, then had a
sandwich.
The bus arrived in Reykjavik around 5:30pm, dropping us off at the Harpa
concert hall. From there, we walked a few minutes to our hotel where
we collected our bags and showered before eating at Rossopomodoro
followed by a well-deserved ice cream at Valdis.
Then we started packing. We'd be leaving our backpacking gear in Iceland
while we explored Scotland, so we split our bags into two types:
one to leave in Iceland, and one to take with us to Scotland.
